Join in with spectacular contests within the International Salon of Security Equipment "Integrated Security"
Residents and visitors are invited to attend the 16th International Salon of Security Equipment “Integrated Security”, which will take place in Kazan from 3 to 5 September 2026. A comprehensive programme and spectacular public events have been prepared for all attendees. Registration for all exhibition activities is now open on the official website at https://kbexpo.ru/.
The “Firefighter Olympus” Open Competition
Since 2021, the “Firefighter Olympus” professional skill competition has been an integral feature of the “Integrated Security” exhibition. The event attracts more than 400 participants annually, growing in popularity each year. It features the most experienced and driven personnel from fire and rescue units across various Russian regions, alongside representatives from international emergency services.
The specialised “Firefighter Olympus” course comprises a sequence of eight exercises designed to closely replicate real-world firefighting operations. These tasks include donning combat gear and personal protective equipment (PPE), moving heavy loads, manoeuvring with hose reels, using a power cutter to breach a metal door, operating a hose mouthpiece, rescuing casualties, and navigating confined spaces. The competition runs continuously upon the arrival and registration of participants. The absolute record for completing the course stands at 2 minutes 26 seconds for men, and 4 minutes 21 seconds for women.
The competition will be held outside the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre from 09:00 on 3 September until 15:00 on 5 September. The awarding ceremony is scheduled for 14:00 on 5 September.
“Become a Hero 3.0” Interactive Quest
An interactive quest game titled “Become a Hero 3.0” will be open to young people, family groups, and all interested attendees across the Salon grounds. Participants will encounter 10 themed stations situated throughout the venue. Each station offers a unique challenge related to the work of the emergency services, ranging from donning firefighting combat gear and administering first aid to working with artificial intelligence. The quest is open to both individual participants and teams, though children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The game will run daily from 10:00 to 16:00. Results will be tallied each evening, with daily winners receiving medals and commemorative gifts. At the end of the three-day event, overall champions will be determined and awarded trophies and high-value prizes.
Firefighting Train Demonstration
On 3 and 4 September, a 7th-generation modular firefighting train will be on display near the Airport railway station. This multifunctional complex is designed for rapid emergency response, firefighting, and rescue operations. The train comprises a pump station carriage and a modular freight platform with a container designed to house specialist equipment tailored to specific tasks. It is equipped with firefighting agent reserves, specialised technical gear, and robotic systems, ensuring efficient operations in complex and hazardous conditions. Its modular architecture allows the train’s composition and equipment to be rapidly adapted to meet specific operational requirements. Admission is free.
Exhibition of Vehicles and Equipment
An exhibition dedicated to the operations of the contract units of the Federal Fire Service will be staged inside the pavilions of the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre. Visitors will be able to view a model of a situational command centre, examples of collaborative innovative developments with manufacturing plants, including the AC-6/100 fire and rescue appliance and an exhibition stand by the Ural Institute of the State Fire Service of the EMERCOM of Russia.
The outdoor display area will showcase machinery from the EMERCOM of Russia, the fire and rescue garrison of the Republic of Tatarstan, and specialised commercial enterprises. This will feature dozens of examples of firefighting, rescue, and specialist vehicles, including fire engines, hydraulic platforms, foam and powder tender vehicles, rescue vehicle, etc.
Throughout the Salon – from 10:00 to 17:00 daily – visitors can view live demonstrations of the “Digital Fire Garrison” state information system at an interactive stand, offering a real-time insight into the operations of fire and rescue units.
